Basement Bar Cabinet upcycle

Old Basement Bar Cabinets

Basement Bar Before

We had this old, 1980’s step up bar that needed some love. I didn’t want to waste the completely functional cabinets and drawers.

Sanded and painted the old cabinet doors and drawers

Basement Bar Upcycle

Voila! Here is the completed basement bar upcycle! With a little paint, creativity, and elbow grease we have a “new” modern bar area.

Basement Bar and Wine Cellar

Basement Bar and Wine Cellar

Here is the finished basement bar and wine cellar, which we call the creepy room. Head over to my Instagram to see why! (Check out the Creepy Room Highlight)

Creepy Room

Vintage Table

I found this vintage table for free on the side of the road. I picked it up, brought it home, and got to work!

New/Old Vintage Table

I lightly sanded the piece, painted it with a flat black paint, and then lightly sanded it again in some areas to give it that worn look. Now this free piece fits perfectly into my home!

Leftover Railing

We had some leftover railing from the entry way project. We decided to not waste any of it!

Leftover Railing Turned into Wine Display

I turned some leftover railing into a wine display for the kitchen.

Bathroom Vanity Upcycle

Basement Bathroom Vanity

Basement Bathroom Vanity

We had this basement bathroom vanity we took out of the bathroom. I didn’t want it to go to waste so I came up with another way to use it.

Bathroom Vanity Turned Play Kitchen

Bathroom Vanity Turned Kids’ Play Kitchen

I painted the drawers, switched out some hardware, cut a board for the counter top and stove door. Made some wood rounds and painted them for the stove top and knobs, reused an old faucet from the kitchen and painted a bowl to use for the sink.

Secret Closet Playroom

Secret Closet Playroom

Now the kids have a secret closet playroom where they can play kitchen and get creative!

Vintage Sewing Table Refresh

Vintage Sewing Table Before

Vintage Sewing Table Before

I found this old vintage sewing table for $5 on Marketplace. I knew it needed some fixing up.

Sewing Table Before

Fixing the Table Up

I pulled the paper that was covering the top, screwed the front panel back in place, sanded and painted.

Finished Sewing Table Refresh

Sewing Table After

With a little paint and some TLC this table looks stunning. I even kept the same hardware and it really pops off the green.
